Licensing Requirement for Internal Users

With a new approach to business application licensing for both on-Premises and on-Cloud, Dynamics 365 licensing is predominately user-based and licensing by CALs or SALs, which are assigned on a “named user” basis. Both Named CALs and a unique User SAL must be assigned to each individual user that will access the solution functionality. Both are specific to an individual and cannot be shared.

Thailand VAT and Withholding Tax Localization for 365 Business Central

 

AVision has completely developed a Thai Localization package for Dynamics 365 Business Central and published in Microsoft AppSource since May 2019. This app supports both the Essential and Premium editions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Thailand Tax Regulation and Requirements:

Corporations doing business in Thailand must comply with country-specific laws, regulations and common business practices to handle their daily business transactions and other needs for running their business operations.

VAT (Value Added Tax):

In Thailand VAT is realized at different times depending on the type of item/service. When VAT is realized a Tax Invoice must be printed. For Goods, VAT is realized at the time of Delivered or Received Goods. For Services VAT is realized at the time of Payment or Receipt. The application handles the realization of VAT and associated printing of the Tax Invoices and VAT reports.

Withholding Tax:

Functionality has been created to handle Withholding Tax in Thailand. Tax is withheld on certain services at different percentages as specified by the tax authorities. Vendor and G/L Accounts can all be setup so as have WHT applied to them.
